3. Configure the IP Address

• Start the terminal program (for example, HyperTerminal); enter the command ?. Enter the user

name service to access the IP menu.

•Enter the command i twice to open the IP menu and to display the current IP address.

• Enter the desired IP address (e.g. 192.168.0.88). The new IP address is displayed and is valid

after a reboot.

• If necessary, enter the command s and enter a new subnet mask.

• Use the commands shown for further settings if required.
