Features
The VIP X1/X2 has the following features:-
• Video and data transmission over IP data networks
• Dual streaming function for the encoder for simultaneous coding with two
individually definable profiles
• Multicast function for simultaneous picture transmission to multiple
receivers
• One analogue BNC video input FBAS (PAL/NTSC) on the VIP X1, two
analogue BNC video inputs FBAS (PAL/NTSC) on the VIP X2
• Video encoding using MPEG 4 standard
• Integrated ethernet interface (10/100 T-Base)
• Transparent Bi-directional data channel using serial interface
RS232/RS485
• Remote control of all functions via TCP/IP
• Password protection to prevent unauthorised connection or configuration
changes
• Four relay inputs for external sensors (such as door functions)
• Event-driven, automatic connection (e.g. switch on and alarms)
• Fast, convenient configuration using the integrated web server and a
browser
• Firmware update through flash memory
• Convenient upload of configuration data
